About the Job
Ensures that all the legal activities are executed for the welfare of the Company.
- Draft and review contracts and agreements for all departments.
- Provide advisory and opinions with respect to legal and risks issues of the company and its subsidiaries.
- Support and assist the Human Resources Department in administrative hearings, Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiation and other employee relation matters including reviewing of Notice of Decision for Dismissal.
- Prepare affidavits, motions, pleadings, and evidence for internal cases.
- Handle cases in judicial bodies and other tribunals.
- Monitor and work closely on the cases.
- Notarize documents signed by company representatives.
- Drafting legal letters to outside entities.
- Keep abreast of any changes or updates in relevant laws, regulations and guidelines that might affect the company ensuring compliance and information to these new legal requirements.
- Conduct training regarding legal matters to other Departments.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Law.
- Admitted to the Bar
- At least 5 years of experience practicing law.
- Must have a good track record in litigation.
- Knowledge and experience in handling and managing CBA negotiations, union-related issues, labor cases, damage claims, collection, and property cases.
- Adept in legal counseling.
- Diligent with great attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and planning skills to proactively manage project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans.
