Associate Infrastructure Support

Responsibilities

• Deployment of application releases, changes and update.

The first line of contact for technical support and troubleshooting, escalating accordingly when required.

• Respond to monitoring alerts, taking appropriate action and/or escalating accordingly when necessary.

Repair and recover from infrastructure or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted parties.

• Ensure daily tasks including monitoring, backups, security checks, scheduled scripts, etc. complete successfully.

Assist company staff with internal IT requests, during hours when internal IT Support Engineers may not be on duty.

• Install, build, maintain and document production, staging, test and development systems.

Develop scripts and routines in order to improve and streamline operational processes, and automate tasks where possible.

• Identify recurring issues and escalate appropriately for permanent resolution.

Provide technical support on escalated requests received from various departments,

• investigate and troubleshoot issues, including liaising with other technical staff where required (such as developers, etc.)

Perform ongoing performance tuning and resource optimization as required.

• Maintenance, documentation and deployment of required network-related configuration

• Requirements

1 year of working with Cloud Technologies like AWS is preferred

• Experience with WebServers, RDS and MQ is a plus

Experience with GIT or other code repositories

• Experience with Jira and Confluence

Experience with CI/CD pipeline

• Experience with Monitoring Tools such as Grafana

Familiar with IAAS like Terraform and Docker technologies like Kubernetes

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Must be able to learn and adapt quickly to changing job requirements
