The Design Evaluation Engineer will work on highly integrated, high-performance complex Power and Mixed Signal products from IC development through production release. Key responsibilities are:
- Perform physical silicon device evaluation, characterization, and debug.
- Work with cross functional teams to identify, simulate and correct device function and parametric problems.
- Develop evaluation methodology and measurement plans.
- Design hardware and software solutions to support new product design evaluation.
- Work with design and test engineers on validating and correlating design bench reference data to ATE data.
- Document evaluation results according to Design Evaluation documentation requirements.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering or any related field. MS graduate or with units is an advantage.
- Solid background in electronics, circuit analysis, and product understanding of Power Management Products (LDO, Buck, Boost etc.)
- Experience in using lab equipment's ranging from multi-meters, Oscilloscope, Signal Generators, SMU, Electronic Loads, Network Analyzers etc.
- Proficiency in Python is preferred; familiarity with LabView, C/C++ is a plus.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, PMBus etc.
- Experience in PCB schematic entry and layout, preferably using Cadence Tools.
- Independent, self-driven and enthusiastic.
- Ability to work with global teams across different time zones.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
