The Design Evaluation Engineer will work on highly integrated, high-performance complex Power and Mixed Signal products from IC development through production release. Key responsibilities are:

  • Perform physical silicon device evaluation, characterization, and debug.
  • Work with cross functional teams to identify, simulate and correct device function and parametric problems.
  • Develop evaluation methodology and measurement plans.
  • Design hardware and software solutions to support new product design evaluation.
  • Work with design and test engineers on validating and correlating design bench reference data to ATE data.
  • Document evaluation results according to Design Evaluation documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering or any related field. MS graduate or with units is an advantage.
  • Solid background in electronics, circuit analysis, and product understanding of Power Management Products (LDO, Buck, Boost etc.)
  • Experience in using lab equipment's ranging from multi-meters, Oscilloscope, Signal Generators, SMU, Electronic Loads, Network Analyzers etc.
  • Proficiency in Python is preferred; familiarity with LabView, C/C++ is a plus.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, PMBus etc.
  • Experience in PCB schematic entry and layout, preferably using Cadence Tools.
  • Independent, self-driven and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to work with global teams across different time zones.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
