The Associate Brand Manager will activate Mega's brand essence, mission and vision, and facilitate thought leadership in the conceptualization and development of various game-changing marketing programs to support the advocacies and goals of the assigned brand/s.
Responsibilities:
Executes consumer immersions and other relevant in sighting exercises
Develops and updates the target consumer portrait.
Works closely with sales and trade marketing in identifying category/channel drivers and ensuring that shopper knowledge is updated and relevant.
Develops brand portfolio strategy, including pricing and SKU management. Seeks and takes advantage of existing and untapped business opportunities that will maximize profits and investment.
Creates communication/activation briefs that will inspire agencies to transform the brand vision and essence into actionable plans.
Work closely with the Trade Marketing Section Lead to activate the campaign idea in-store (through POPs, Shopper Activities, Promotions, etc.)
Oversees execution and collaborates with the cross-functional team for assigned product development projects. Effectively, spearheads product development efforts including new products, SKU, and product extensions of the assigned category and/or new categories that the organization will enter.
Continuously track brand performance and brand health. Accountable in safekeeping and maintaining the brand's gross profit margins and attaining target volume and market share.
Drives cross-functional team and ensures that all planning and brand-related projects are on track.
Recommends programs to hit set volume targets and develops gap-bridging programs if needed. Manages end-to-end development of communication from goal setting to post-evaluation and ensures timely execution of all stages.
Demonstrates leadership and facilitates the development of his/her team.
Oversees and manages procurement and payment activities for the brand. Determine the most cost-efficient manner in the execution of marketing programs while achieving maximum results.
Assesses and interprets market research data and analyzes competitor activities and behavior to ensure that brand/s handles stay above the competition.
Ensure adherence and compliance to company rules and regulations, and with the organization's mission, vision, and core values.
Coordinates with various departments including Purchasing, R&D, Finance, and HR for the execution of brand-related concerns
May be asked to execute other job-related functions, as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Economics, Entrepreneurship, or other relevant courses
Experience: With at least 3-5 years of experience in brand management preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail or food company
