Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing overall day to day operations.

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of warehouse layouts and workflows to improve efficiency and space utilization.

  • Coordinate and supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and shipping.

  • Ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of orders, maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

  • Assisting in preparing data for monthly operation performance report.

  • Assess recommended improvements from Supervisors prior to implementation.

  • Assess recommended action related to manpower evaluation result.

  • Assign tasks and monitor performance, providing guidance and feedback to maintain high standards.

  • Promote a safe and inclusive working environment by enforcing company policies and procedures.

  • Assist in managing inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and reconciling discrepancies.

  • Implement and maintain effective inventory management system to track stick levels and movements.

  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to develop execute strategic initiatives for operational excellence.

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree of Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent (master's degree is an advantage)
  • At least more than 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Warehouse Operations or relevant experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Knowledge in using SAP system in an advantage.
  • Experience with warehouse management and inventory management software.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions quickly.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service and resolving issues to enhance customer satisfaction.
