Position: Assistant Safety Officer
Location: Verde Oro Bldg, Commonwealth Ave, Quezon City
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Safety Officer to support our safety initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities Include
- Assisting in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures
- Conducting safety inspections and audits
- Providing safety training to employees
- Investigating accidents and incidents and recommending corrective actions
- Maintaining safety records and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) a plus
- 2-3 years of experience in a safety-related role
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
