The Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM) supports the Restaurant Manager in ensuring the delivery of the Brand Standards and food safety promise through the daily operations of a single restaurant. The ARM helps manage financial controls, operations, people development, Guest service and compliance across shifts. The ARM has full accountability for restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager and serves as the lead assistant to the Restaurant Manager for ensuring desired restaurant outcomes (i.e., increased sales, profitability, employee retention). An ARM should be able to work long and/or irregular hours, including extra shifts, as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant

Assists RM in forecasting, ordering, operational expenses, accounting and maintaining product and supply inventories (Has expertise)

- Ensures Restaurant Compliance: Enforces compliance of government regulations, company management standards, Code of Conduct, company policies and procedures relating to all restaurant activities across shifts and Tim Hortons Operations Manual and Food Safety regulations.
Directs the team to maintain Tim Hortons restaurant and equipment cleanliness and sanitation standards (Gets Results)
Takes initiative to immediately act on violations of safety, sanitation, or security policies by reporting violations to RM; and performing appropriate damage control within scope of ARM role (Has Expertise/Shows Drive)
Motivates and educates team members to comply with Health and Safety protocols and to maintain a safe and secure environment for Guest and the team (Leads People)
