As the Assistant Operations Lead to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) within the food industry, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the COO in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food kiosk business. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and profitability. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
- Assist the COO in developing and implementing operational strategies to optimize efficiency and streamline processes.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations, including procurement, logistics, and maintenance.- Prepare and monitor Sales Forecasting
Monitor all projects to ensure consistency and completion.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with the COO to maintain high-quality standards across all aspects of operations, including food preparation, hygiene, and customer service.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and materials.
Team Management:- Provide leadership and guidance to operational teams, including kiosk staff and support personnel.
Conduct training sessions to educate staff on operational procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Financial Management:
- Assist in budget planning and cost management initiatives to control expenses and maximize profitability.
Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization.- Support the COO in developing pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive sales and revenue growth.
Communication and Collaboration:- Serve as a liaison between the operations team and other departments, including marketing, finance, and human resources.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to convey operational updates, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as landlords and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance with legal requirements and lease agreements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
At least 5 years prior experience in operations management, preferably in the food service or retail industry.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and industry standards.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and operational software.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
