Job Summary:The Assistant Manager Operations will play a crucial role in supporting the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective workflow, and enhancing productivity. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and optimize operational processes.
Operational Management:- Assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing daily operations.
Monitor and improve operational systems, processes, and best practices.- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
Team Leadership:- Supervise and motivate staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Assist in recruitment, training, and development of team members.- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Process Improvement:- Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations.- Utilize data analysis to drive operational efficiencies.
Quality Assurance:- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all operational activities.- Address and resolve any operational issues or complaints.
Financial Oversight:- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
Monitor and manage operational expenses to stay within budget.- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Communication and Reporting:- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance.
Maintain clear and effective communication with the Operations Manager and other departments.- Participate in meetings and provide updates on operational status.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role.
Proven experience in managing teams and improving operational processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.- Proficiency in MS Office and operations management software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in BPO industry.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with financial management and budgeting.
