Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant FOM (Front Office Manager) at The Byke Hotels & Resorts in South Goa district. As an Assistant FOM, your day-to-day tasks will include managing the front desk, assisting guests with check-in/check-out, handling guest inquiries and complaints, coordinating with other hotel departments, ensuring a smooth operation of the front office, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, you will support the Front Office Manager in various administrative tasks and staff training.
Qualifications
- Experience in hotel front office operations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in hotel management software
- Knowledge of reservation and booking systems
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Team player with leadership skills
- Fluency in English and local language(s)
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
- Diploma or degree in hotel management or related field
