About the Role:


As a CBRE Assistant Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for providing overseeing building operations and maintenance for a BPO facility.

This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

What You'll Do:
Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect Integrity Service and Excellence) values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Schedule and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.

Vendor and Service Management Experience: The applicant must have prior experience in managing vendors and services on-site. This includes negotiating with vendors, ensuring that their services meet the company's standards, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Knowledge in Facilities Operations: The candidate should have a thorough understanding of the procedures and techniques involved in facilities operations. This includes knowledge of safety regulations, emergency procedures, equipment maintenance, and more.

Managerial and Human Relations Skills: The successful candidate should possess a solid background in management, demonstrating the ability to lead a team effectively and efficiently. They should also have excellent human relations skills, which include the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, vendors, and potentially clients.

Excellent Communication Skills: The job requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. This involves being able to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders, including team members, vendors, and management. It also includes the ability to prepare and present reports and proposals.

On-Site Role: The candidate should be comfortable and adaptable to working on-site full time. The nature of the role does not provide the option for hybrid or remote work, so it's essential that the applicant is able to commit to being physically present at
