Job Description- Shall assist the Director of Sales and Marketing in providing leadership and maximize sales of the Sales and Marketing Department.
Contribute to the development of hotel's sales and marketing initiatives by recommending, implementing and monitoring appropriate strategies- Research, analyze and identify new accounts and leads opportunities from different markets
Responsible for implementing the segment sales strategy and achieving segment revenue goals, property revenue goals and guest and employee satisfaction
- Participates in sales calls with the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reporting, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required by the management- Shall assist in training, development and on the job coaching of the sales team and groom a high-performing sales team
Motivate sales team to make proactive decisions in all their communications with clients.
- Participate in management meetings to review department's progress towards achievement of business plan goals and develop the annual strategic business plan related for the department
Survey, review and analyze competition, market trends, customer needs and guests comments and suggestions in order to be proactive and adapt with business needs- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
Graduate of any Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.- Three (3) years experience of progressive leadership experience as an Assistant Director of Sales.
Experience with the development and implementation of a sales and marketing plan. Knowledge of profit generation and forecasting a plus.
- Must possess highly developed communication and negotiation skills
High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of global markets and business acumen- Willing to be assigned to any Astoria Properties
