Due to strongcontinued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Culinary Training Consultant tojoin the MCTC Philippines team and play an important role in the company's expansion plan.
As an Assistant Culinary Training Consultant, you'll be responsible for:
- The effective execution of the culinary training programs.
- Assessing the competence gained by the trainees.
- Conducting physical onboard visits when needed.
- Ensuring proper inventory is being conducted in the galley.
- Responsible for the preparation of the training courses.
- Preparation and submission of posttraining reports.
- Following and adhering to the predetermined communication and reporting lines.
- Reporting to the Culinary Training Manager for updates or any training challenges encountered.
- Coordinating with the Operations Manager on any administrative or operations-related matters.
- Attending and participating in virtual meetings when needed.
- Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Our Expectations:
- Graduate of Culinary College or Hotel Management College.
- Familiar with Indian and European cuisine is a must.
- Computer literacy; excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
- At least two years working experience as Chef.
- Previous experience as a Chief Cook on board merchant vessels is seen as an advantage.
- TESDA accredited is seen as an advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to travel.
