GENERAL FUNCTION
Provides administrative as well as technical assistance to the COO/ MARKETING HEAD assigned brands marketing activities. Assists in the formulation of marketing plans and budgets and coordinates their actual implementation. Analyzes brand performances based on a set criteria through regular monitoring of sales and financial reports, market research and field observation. Submit reports and recommendations thereto to the Marketing Head.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Assists/ initiate in the preparation and formulation of marketing plans, sales forecasts and budgets of assigned brands.
2.Coordinates the implementation of brand development, advertising and promotional activities with concerned parties such as: research and development, manufacturing, sales, advertising and merchandising agencies.
3.Monitors the progress and results of marketing activities and/or projects and submits periodic reports and recommendations to management.
4.Assists/initiate in the preparation of the monthly brand management report and project status report.
5.Maintains and updates historical records on information pertaining to product and packaging development, pricing, promotions and advertising activities, and distribution achievement of assigned brands.
6.Conducts periodic field work and trade checks in coordination with the field Sales force to secure first-hand feedback on the brand program implementation, pricing, competitive activities, distribution and merchandising levels.
7.Keeps record and monitors all related Advertising and Promotions expenses in coordination with Finance to ensure that expenditures are within the planned budgets. Reports variances to the Marketing Head.
8.Assists/initiate activities related to product and packaging conceptualization and development, and constantly seeks to recommend improvements thereto.
9.Regularly evaluates product costs and pricing and takes proper action to ensure that the pricing strategy of each brand relative to market demand and competition is upheld in accordance to the overall marketing plan.
10.Assists/initiate in the formulation and preparation of the annual and monthly volume sales forecasts for each sku of his/her assigned brands in coordination with Sales and Manufacturing to ensure adequate supply levels to meet consumer demand.
11.Periodically checks and monitors adherence to the Retail/Merchandising standards for each of his/her assigned brands in terms of in-store shelving, location, shelf management, facings and use of merchandising collaterals.
12.Coordinates the conduct of market research activities as directed by the Marketing Head in order to effectively profile the consumer, assess the market, brand usage, image and price elasticity. Analyzes market research findings and submits a recommended action plant to management.
13.Undertakes any special projects related to the marketing function that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Graduate of BS Marketing or any business related four-year course
At least 3 to 5 year work experience in the related field, preferably in an FMCG company
Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers
