DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES will include the following:
SHOP OPERATIONS.
- Open the bakery early in the morning
Clean kitchen equipment and tools before and after use. Keep all areas of the bakeshop clean. Practice CLAYGO.- Maintain highest personal hygiene and Observe highest HACCP protocol standards.
Weigh flour and other ingredients. Keep accurate records.
- Track food supplies and place orders, as needed
Cater to customers queries. Maintain cheerful disposition and helpful and respectful. Ensure customer delight.- Accept customer orders whether physical or thru online (e.g. Delivery apps). Operate the POS. Keep accurate records.
Bakery closing procedures. Daily Inventory keeping. Reconciliation reports.
- Perform other Ad Hoc tasks as may be required by the bakeshop. e.g. Updating of Social Media platforms
BAKING. Bake different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes and multigrain breads
- Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking.
Assemble all ingredients for production.- Mix various ingredients to create fillings for creampuffs, cakes and pies and
Shape dough to prepare different types of pastries
- Properly operate all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters.
Decorate products with glazes, icings, buttercream and edible toppings.- Coordinate with other bakers on order status, production, inventory
Meet production timeliness standards. Keep calm in fast-paced
- Packaging of finished products to customer orders.
Report to management on inventory and production status.- Observe Safety. Handle all hot items with care.
