- Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist head bakers in the preparation and baking of various goods.
- Responsible for assisting in the creation of a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment- Ensure the bakery section adheres to health and safety regulations.
Manage needed supplies and inventory levels.
- Assist in assessing the quality of raw materials before baking.
Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils.
High school diploma or certificate in culinary arts, baking, or relevant field.- Working experience within the food industry as an assistant baker, or relevant role is a plus.
Knowledge of how baking ingredients work together and how they can be used in creative ways
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.
