Assistant Asset Management ManagerThis role is responsible for supporting the efficient operation and maintenance of the organization's fleet vehicles and other fixed assets. This role involves coordinating with various teams to ensure proper utilization, maintenance, and safety compliance.
_Fleet Maintenance oversight:
_- Assist in the management of the organization's fleet assets, including vehicles, equipment, and related resources.
Maintain accurate records of all fleet assets, including registration, maintenance history, and usage data.
- Ensure that all fleet vehicles are regularly maintained to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Liaise with maintenance technicians and external service providers to schedule repairs and inspections as needed.
_Cost Management:
_- Assist in monitoring and controlling fleet-related expenses, including fuel, maintenance, repairs, and insurance costs.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through efficient utilization, preventive maintenance, and negotiation with vendors.

Compliance and Safety:_
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies governing fleet operations, including vehicle registration, licensing, and safety requirements.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure the well-being of drivers and other road users.
_Asset Utilization:
_- Optimize the utilization of company assets by analyzing usage patterns, identifying underutilized resources, and recommending adjustments as necessary.
Coordinate with operational teams to align asset deployment with business needs and priorities.

Reporting and Analysis:_
- Generate regular reports on asset performance, including utilization, maintenance activities, and operational costs.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to management.
_Vendor Management:
_- Manage relationships with fleet service providers, including leasing companies, maintenance contractors, and fuel suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and resolve any issues or disputes in a timely manner.

Continuous Improvement:_
- Participate in the development and implementation of initiatives to improve asset management processes, systems, and technologies.
Proactively identify opportunities for streamlining operations, enhancing efficiency, and reducing costs.- Maintain accurate records of all fleet assets, including registration, maintenance history, and usage data.
Ensure that all fleet vehicles are regularly maintained to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Liaise with maintenance technicians and external service providers to schedule repairs and inspections as needed.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or automotive related field (preferred).
Previous experience in fleet management or related roles.- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in fleet operations.- With accounting knowledge and analysis ( asset valuation computation, cost benefit analysis)
