ABOUT THE ROLE
- Reporting to the Team Lead for Broker Policy Processing, you will handle the processing of renewals, quotes, new business requests, policy maintenance, and endorsements.
- Provide administrative and processing support to the Account Executives.
- Provide a high level of customer service and office support as required.
- Respond to inquiries and requests for action from Account Executives and other team members.
- Process renewals, quotes, new business requests, and policy maintenance to ensure excellent service to clients.
- Liaise with clients via phone and email.
- Prepare correspondence between the business, clients, and underwriters for approval by the Account Executive.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant statutory and industry requirements and codes.
- Acquire a sound knowledge of the insurance industry and market, as well as clients industries, businesses and risks.
- Undertake Professional Development/training to achieve the required CPD points (Continuing Professional Development), 50 points across two years, to maintain Tier 1 qualification.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
- High attention to detail; familiarity with invoicing procedures.
- Familiarity with INSIGHT, OIT, Microsoft Office, and Nitro.
- Ability to communicate at all levels in a multiple stakeholder environment, e.g., liaison with clients, external service providers, and other relevant divisions or entities with Steadfast Group.
- Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder, and time management skills.
- Highly motivated and honest, flexible, pro-active, and driven.
- Commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
