The Asset Management Supervisor is responsible for supervising the lifecycle management of assets, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal. This role ensures that all assets are recorded, maintained, and utilized in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, and that asset management activities support the organization's strategic objectives.
Oversee the acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of assets.
- Ensure accurate recording and tracking of all assets in the asset management system.
Conduct regular audits and physical inventories of assets.- Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
Maintain an accurate inventory of assets, including location, condition, and usage status.
- Coordinate and schedule regular maintenance and repairs of assets.
Monitor and track maintenance activities and costs.- Ensure that maintenance activities comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Supervise and lead a team of asset management staff.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations for team members.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Asset Management, or a related field.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in asset management or a related field.
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles, practices, and tools.
Proficiency in asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
