Position Summary:
This position is responsible for analyzing and monitoring asset performance criteria, asset cost control, and deliver discipline and compliance. The role will include identifying potential improvements, analyze maintenance strategies and ensure proper utilization of various asset information system to determine condition and long-term integrity of the station's critical assets.
- Monitor, facilitate, and ensure AMS implementation at the site as per the ISO55001 requirements, IAM framework, Coal BU Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP), and site AM plans
- Assist and support AM Manager in leading, promoting and maintaining the accreditation to ISO 55001 standards at the station
- Coordinate with AP Asset Management team on cascading established standards and guidelines
- Will be nominated as the internal audit representative for AMS at the site and will constantly collaborate with AP Internal Audit and Coal BU BPM team to align on the internal process controls requirements
- Maintain the Life Cycle Management Plan (LCMP) database
- Responsible in monitoring and maintaining the E-MOC registry per site
- Responsible for RCA tracking and for monitoring of effective corrective action implementation and status
- Custodian and key user of Asset Strategy Management function (GE Asset Performance Management). Responsible in monitoring and reporting that the agreed asset strategies are being implemented by the responsible teams (based on RCM recommendations).
- Facilitates site trainings, workshops and cascades for AMS, E-MOC, RCA process implementation
- Working closely with Finance & Accounting team in matters relating to fixed asset registry and asset life cycle costing analysis
- Utilizing EAM (IBM Maximo) to support sound asset management practice for Asset, Work, and Inventory Management processes
- Conducts scheduled Maximo process and data audits looking for inefficiencies
- Perform and assist where required proactive error checks in Maximo
- Support O&M in reviewing and updating asset strategies and preparing budgetary requirements for the execution of such strategies
- Prepares asset management reports and creates functional specifications for Maximo reports and KPIs
- Ensures Maximo asset registries conform to functional hierarchical standards (e.g., ISO14224)
- Perform other related tasks and/or functions that may be assigned by superior from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering
- Preferred but not required: Engineering licensure exam certification
- 1-3 years relevant experience to industries such as Power Plant, Oil and Gas or Manufacturing. At least 1 year of working experience in an ISO certified company is preferred.
- At least 1 year in a project coordinator role
