Job Title: Asset Management Accountant VareCoVonFinch is looking for a Asset Management Accountant
with 5-8 years of experience. The employee should have experience working with executives to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting. The best candidate for this role will be capable of working in a fast paced environment, coordinating with key stakeholders, and solving complex problems on the fly.
The candidate should be comfortable processing bookkeeping transactions in quickbooks when needed but also able to manage bookkeepers as they are hired. Candidates MUST BE PROFICIENT in excel, quickbooks, GAAP accounting standards, and English comprehension. This role will be very fast paced so the employee should be speed focused and able to correct and learn from mistakes.
The employee will be expected to learn and grow into a Controller as career progression while assisting in hiring and building out the Accounting and Finance departments.
- Pay Range: USD $1000-1500 a month

VareCo, in partnership with Vonfinch Capital, is seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Property Financial Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of various properties under our management. You will work closely with the VareCo team to ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to optimize property performance.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for VareCo's property portfolio, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with property managers to develop and monitor property budgets and forecasts. Analyze variances and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Cash Management: Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payment of expenses, including utilities, taxes, and maintenance costs. Prepare and review bank reconciliations.
- Lease Administration: Review and analyze lease agreements to ensure accurate billing of rents, CAM charges, and other tenant expenses. Address tenant inquiries related to billing and financial matters.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to evaluate property performance, investment opportunities, and potential risks. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by senior management.- Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Coordinate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- CPA or CFA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management accounting or real estate finance.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Investnext) and MS Excel.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
