PURPOSE: to oversee and manage sales activities within a specific geographic region or area. To lead a team to achieve sales targets, drive revenue growth, and maximize profitability for the Company.
- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop sales strategies and plans for the assigned area to meet revenue targets and increase market share.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify new business opportunities.
Set sales targets and objectives for individual sales representatives and monitor their performance.
- Team Management:
Recruit, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives.
Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to the sales team to improve their sales techniques and product knowledge.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team productivity and job satisfaction.
- Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers.
Identify customer needs and preferences, and develop strategies to address them effectively.
Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Monitor customer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for product improvement or development.
- Sales Operations:
Monitor sales activities and track sales performance against targets.
Develop and implement sales plans, budgets, and forecasts for the assigned area.
Manage product distribution, pricing, and promotional activities within the area.
Coordinate with marketing and product teams to ensure effective product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular sales reports, performance analysis, and market intelligence reports.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the overall business planning process.
Monitor and report on competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market share.
- 6. Compliance and Ethics:
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Promote a culture of integrity, professionalism, and ethical behavior within the sales team.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience in sales management within the FMCG industry.

- Proficiency in sales management software and MS Office applications.
