The
Area Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue by implementing and executing strategies to achieve sales targets. He will manage and lead teams of Business Development Specialists and Field Technicians/Technical Farm Advisers, conduct sales territory analyses, and close sales. He will ensure consistent profitability and accomplishes business development activities by developing marketing opportunities and plans.
Lead, manage and direct the Mindanao Area Sales and Marketing Team with the objective of achieving business targets (product sales, new recruits, credit and collection)
- Setting reasonable sales targets to be achieved by the sales team.
Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.- Drives the implementation of corporate marketing programs and initiatives in the given area of assignment.
Evaluates actual field performances and analyzes business condition in the given area of assignment.
- Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management.
Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.- Utilizing outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales.
Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers.
- Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.- Proven sales experience; sector-specific sales experience is preferred.
Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
