Area Manager will handle multiple stores throughout a large physical area. Area
Managers determine the operational practices of all stores in the area, making sure each
runs smoothly, cleanly, complies with company standards and meets budget and sales
goals. Area Managers duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to; Sales and
Customer focus, Planning, Leading, Organizing, Controlling, Cashiering Functions, and
inventory functions.
Monitor sales preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
- Monitors and executes the day-to-day execution of the stores / area sales plan and strategies for area assignment.
Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability. Ensures effective and efficient selling operations to achieve store sales and profitability targets for all areas.- Monitors Loss Prevention activities in the stores of the assigned area.
