Job Summary:The Area Manager will be responsible for managing the operations of multiple bar locations. This role includes ensuring that each bar meets operational, financial, and quality standards, and delivers exceptional customer service. The Area Manager will lead and support bar managers, oversee staff performance, implement strategic initiatives, and drive business growth.
Oversee the daily operations of multiple bar locations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and licensing laws.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.- Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance for each bar location.
Analyze financial reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for cost control.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
Recruit, train, and develop bar managers and staff.- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure that each bar delivers exceptional customer service.
Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly.- Implement initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities.
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
Engage with the local community to build brand awareness and loyalty.- Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
Implement cost-effective purchasing practices and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor stock control and minimize wastage.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bar and restaurant management, with at least 2 years in a multi-unit management role.
Strong leadership and people management skills.- Excellent financial acumen and experience in budgeting and P&L management.
Proven ability to drive sales and achieve business objectives.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
