- He maximizes the sales of his stores.
- He ensures that stores general and daily operations are conducted according to the company's rules and regulations.
- He takes all steps necessary for having excellent store employees.
- He ensures the lowest possible costs and highest productivity for all operations and procedures.
- He works in cooperation with all other departments in order to let the Company achieve better results and be more successful.
In order to stay ahead of competition, it is required to apply the principle of economy to the maximum extent.
- Specific Decisions and Responsibilities:
- He must visit each store at least twice a week, ideally every two days, check the cash balance (including safe) at least once a week and to draw up a store visit report at least once in a week. The store visit report must be discussed with the Store Manager.
- He visits new stores daily in order to check and help the store manager with the daily procedures.
- He decides on hiring's and dismissals of store employees, except Store Managers and deputies.
- He has to ensure effective promotional advertising for the store (e.g., flyers to households).
- He checks the physical inventory counting of his stores and approves the counts.
- He ensures a good flow of information and documentation between the regional office and stores.
- He monitors competition and general market conditions in the area where his stores are located.
- He decides on expenses and repairs for stores up to $ 1,000.
- He suggests new potential locations to be rented to the Sales Manager.
- He plans and organizes the opening of new stores.
- He checks whether the inventory and order procedures are according to the companys rules and decisions.
- He decides on the number of personnel, full timers and part times. of each store.
- He trains new store managers and reviews the training of cashiers.
- He decides on the holiday programs of store managers and deputies.
- He suggests new potential store managers to the Sales Manager and suggests dismissals.
- He is responsible for the recruitment of new store employees.
- He participates in the Area Managers Meeting.
