Job Summary:The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing all construction projects within their assigned area, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. The Area Manager will collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all construction projects within the designated area.
- Lead and manage project teams, including project managers, site supervisors, and other personnel, to ensure effective coordination and communication.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies and procedures across all construction sites.
Manage subcontractor relationships, including procurement, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation, to ensure quality workmanship and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with the estimating department to review project bids, budgets, and schedules to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to foster positive partnerships and promote repeat business.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).- Proven experience in a construction management role, with a minimum of [insert number] years of experience.
