Job Responsibilities:
- Review architectural designs, drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure they meet client requirements and local regulations.
Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for design improvements.- Ensure all designs comply with Philippine building codes, zoning laws, and other relevant regulations.
Stay updated on changes to local codes and standards, incorporating necessary adjustments into design reviews.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to resolve design issues.
Review and approve shop drawings and Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings.- Provide solutions to design problems that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the design team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Mentor junior architects and designers, sharing knowledge and expertise.- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design reviews, reports, and correspondence.
- Provide regular updates to the Design Manager and other relevant parties on project progress and any issues encountered.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- Licensed Architect in the Philippines.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in design and construction, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.- Deep understanding and practical application of Philippine building codes and construction standards.
Previous experience in a consultancy position is an additional advantage.
- Experience working in a Korean company is a plus.
Good attitude, team player, and effective problem solver. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Proficiency in English and Filipino.
