ArchiCAD Drafter (Log Home Design)

Job Description:

As a Log Home Design Engineer also called as ArchiCAD Drafter, you will play a key role in the design and development of our custom log homes. You will create unique and innovative designs that meet our client's needs and exceed their expectations. From concept to completion, you will utilize your expertise in design, and log home construction techniques to ensure the structural integrity, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of each project.

• Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team to understand the vision, requirements, and preferences for their log home design.

• Develop detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using ArchiCAD 27 by Graphisoft software.

Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure the safety and integrity of the log home designs.

• Work closely with our engineer to coordinate the implementation of the designs.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in log home design.

• Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

• Proven experience in architectural design, with a focus on log home construction.

Proficiency with ArchiCAD CAD software is required.

• Electrical Engineering experience a plus.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for creativity and innovation.

Prior experience in Log Home Design.
