Join our Aprio PH Audit team and you will help support clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio has a career opportunity for an Audit Manager to join their dynamic group. The candidate for this position must live in the Philippines.
Position responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Develop an expert-level understanding of client's business & related industries
- Manage and deliver audit engagements of the clients from planning through completion
- Oversee and direct the budgeting, planning, co-ordination and control of engagements in accordance with client, statutory, firm and business requirements to ensure effective service delivery and maximized recoverability
- Maintain communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure that deadlines are met
- Research skills e.g. information seeking and knowledge sharing, understanding and interpreting information/applying knowledge
- Managing and supervising audit teams through audit engagements
- Review all work before submission to Audit Senior Manager / Audit Partner for further review
- Work with other Managers to help ensure the proper deployment of the audit staff
Qualifications:
- Developed specialties in auditing Financial Services industry.
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Masters degree preferred
- Licensed CPA
- 3-5 years of experience working for a public accounting firm
- Energetically managing, coaching, and developing staff accountants
- Analytical skills in relation to financial statements and other financial information
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients and co-workers
- Demonstrating initiative and willingness to lead, make decisions, and work independently
