Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve providing dynamic support and troubleshooting for software-related problems, with a focus on Linux systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide support and troubleshooting for software-related issues within critical business systems. - Identify and resolve issues within multiple components of the system, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve complex technical problems. - Document and communicate solutions to stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Linux systems and technologies, implementing innovative approaches for improved system performance and stability. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Proficiency in Linux systems. - Strong understanding of software support and troubleshooting methodologies. - Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python. - Knowledge of database management systems and SQL queries. - Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
