As an Application Support Analyst, you will work closely with the Product, technology and software engineering team. You will help define requirements for all raised issues from production, provide guidance to the team on all related issues.

The role also acts as the first line support for subject matter expertise for the applications to check stories and match with system behaviour to identify if it's bug or enhancement through triage. To investigate and replicate/reproduce production issues until resolution.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems particularly when problem is recurring; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues
  • Address QA Engineers impediments by collaborating with the squads
  • Setting release schedules, defining contents, and allocating resources with development teams and stakeholders, minimizing risks and disruptions through effective change control, and overseeing the deployment of updates by coordinating with operations teams and executing procedures.
  • Provide Production Support for Finstro products including troubleshooting customer issues and system issues with AWS services (Cognito, Dynamo, S3, RDS, IAM)
  • Troubleshoot and collect detailed information around issues using CloudWatch (for server logs) and SQL (ad-hoc queries)
  • Write scripts (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc.) for automation and troubleshooting
  • Use Jira as ticket management service desk tool
  • Other duties assigned by direct manager.

Position Requirements:

  • 3+ years of application/production support experience
  • Nice to have experience with Cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud), Linux
  • Experience with AWS (Cognito, DynamoDB, RDS, Cloudwatch, S3, and RTGL)
  • Fluent communication in English, both verbally and written, to all levels within the organization including non-technical audience
  • BS in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Math or equivalent work experience
  • Understands technical solutions to new or highly complex problems that cannot be solved using existing methods or approaches.
  • Capable of creating reports and dashboards for ticket status updates
  • Finance or payments experience and detailed technical writing capabilities
  • Knowledgeable in using JIRA as the main tool for ticket monitoring

The role is a 3x2 Hybrid set up. 3x in the office and 2x remotely per week. Office location is in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) Taguig Metro Manila.
