Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical guidance and support to healthcare professionals in the operation and maintenance of nuclear medicine equipment, including gamma cameras, PET scanners, and associated imaging systems.
Work closely with physicians and radiologists to optimize imaging protocols and procedures for specific diagnostic and therapeutic applications, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.- Develop and deliver training programs and educational materials to healthcare staff on the principles of nuclear medicine, radiation safety, and imaging techniques.
Implement quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain the highest levels of accuracy and safety in nuclear medicine procedures.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in nuclear medicine technology and applications, actively participating in research projects and evaluating new equipment and methodologies.
Foster collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary teams, including radiology, oncology, cardiology, and nuclear medicine departments, to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiologic Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.- At least 1 year of experience working in nuclear medicine, with proficiency in imaging procedures, equipment operation, and radiation safety protocols.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in nuclear medicine practice.
