Job Summary
Manulife's Global Cybersecurity Services - Application Security is building a Penetration Testing Centre of Excellence (COE) to deliver penetration testing capabilities for all segments within Manulife. As an Application Penetration Testing Lead at MBPS, you will be a key project manager, working closely with our business team and penetration testers. Your responsibilities will include managing penetration tests across different segments, ensuring that penetration test schedules are adhered to, and that tests are conducted in accordance with requirements. Additionally, you will ensure that reports are clearly delivered.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the business team and penetration testers to manage and schedule penetration tests across various segments, ensuring compliance with schedules and the clear delivery of reports
- Act as the lead for penetration testing, overseeing the entire program for individual segments.
- Facilitate communication between the penetration testing team and application teams, handling all inquiries regarding schedules and deliveries
- Participate in penetration test scoping calls and walkthroughs to ensure alignment and thorough understanding
- Foster a flexible and adaptive mindset, continuously learning from both successes and failures, and actively engage with and contribute to internal and external open-source communities
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CEH, GWAPT, GPEN, or eWPT
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing across various platforms, with strong technical knowledge of vulnerabilities, exploits, and tools, and expertise in developing advanced attack capabilities
- Proficient in security assessment frameworks and methodologies, capable of performing both manual and automated testing, and experienced in researching and developing security tools and automation scripts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to produce clear assessment reports with findings and recommendations
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration at all organizational levels
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with high integrity, adaptability, resilience, and initiative
- Preferably experienced in working in an international environment with diverse cultures
