About the Role

We are expanding in the Philippines and are looking to hire highly motivated people who can grow with the company. As an Application Operation Support Analyst, you will be trained to understand mechanics of different reward promotions that we operate in at least 70 countries globally that incentivize customers for their purchases in order to validate claims and ensure the timely fulfillment of rewards.

This role is strictly for first time, entry-level Information Technology Industry aspirants who are looking to get hired by a successful global software-as-a-service company.

This position observes a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday, with a possible shifting work schedule (day shift and night shift.) Philippine holidays are observed.

Daily Recurring Tasks

  • Communicating with colleagues via Microsoft Teams or Zoom on how to tackle the day's workload.
  • Validating incoming customer claims according to approved promotion mechanics and known work instructions.
  • Contacting customers via e-mail or a phone call to follow-up on additional requested information.
  • Receiving, verifying, and loading customer purchase data in Excel files that were received from different business units into the database
  • Writing SQL queries to analyze data from SQL Server databases.
  • Applying application configuration changes as requested by business units to match promotion mechanics.
  • Responding to customer requests or inquiries that arrive on the support mailbox.
  • Participating in business process analysis meetings to identify bottlenecks and other areas for immediate optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Escalate software platform issues as reported by customers or service partners to responsible teams
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting by analyzing data in production databases and other data sources.
  • Report the nature of received inquiries and status of pending tasks to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Understand all processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Create, review, update, analyze, and maintain process documentation.
  • Support and respond to questions from promotion and finance contacts on the state of promotion operations
  • Monitor logistics procedures and escalate to relevant contacts whenever necessary
  • Perform reward fulfillment related tasks in coordination with service partners and customers
  • Act as the main contact between Client Engagement Managers, Business Units and Channel Partners.

Required Skills Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a bachelor degree in the following fields: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • You must have graduated from your bachelor degree in a relevant field between the years 2023 to 2024.
  • Able to write basic and presentable HTML to format documents.
  • Able to write and debug complex formulae in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, built-in functions)
  • Working knowledge of Standard Query Language (SQL) to fetch data from relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications

To qualify for the top of the salary range, you must have at least two (2) of the following qualifications in addition to the required skills for the role:

  • Can implement complex software requirements using any of these programming languages: Javascript, C#, or Python.
  • Can independently perform data engineering and data analysis using industry standard tools like the R programming language, Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Knowledgeable in implementing macros for Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerApps (model-driven apps) and Power Automate.
  • You have relevant certifications to prove competency in Software Development disciplines (programming, data analysis, SQL) from any of the following certification providing institutions: Harvard CS50x (from edX), Microsoft, Amazon, Google, IBM, Oracle
  • You can show on-going or completed (side) projects that are actively used by real users in production that are accessible in the public Internet.
  • You belong the to top 5% of your graduating class during academic calendars ending in years 2023 or 2024 from a CHED-recognized Center of Excellence or Center for Development in Information Technology.

Gross Monthly Pay: 27,000.00 - 43,000.00 (inclusive of allowances and bonuses)
