Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for PeopleSoft Payroll hosted in OCI, ensuring its smooth operation and resolving any issues or bugs that arise.
- Collaborate with end-users, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes related to Payroll.
- Design, develop, and implement enhancements or customizations to the PeopleSoft Payroll system based on business requirements, considering the OCI environment.
- Create, modify, and maintain PeopleSoft Payroll reports using BI Publisher, utilizing its features for generating and managing reports effectively.
- Utilize PeopleTools to extract, transform, and load data for report generation and analysis.
- Perform system testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features, enhancements, or updates to the Payroll system hosted in OCI.
- Investigate and troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and propose and implement appropriate solutions, considering the OCI environment.
- Monitor system performance in OCI and proactively identify areas for improvement, such as system optimizations or process automation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, including training, documentation, and best practices, considering the OCI environment.
- Collaborate with the broader AMS support team and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Developer or Analyst, specifically with PeopleSoft Payroll.
- Less experience will be considered as Junior PeopleSoft Developer/Analyst
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Payroll module functionality, configuration, and underlying data structures.
- Proficient in PeopleTools, including PeopleCode, Application Designer, and PeopleSoft Query.
- Expertise in utilizing BI Publisher for report generation and management.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Workflow, App Engine, and Integration Broker is a plus.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and its concepts, including hosting PeopleSoft applications in OCI.
- Familiarity with HK and SG Payroll laws, regulations, and taxation rules is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
