Summary: As an Application Developer in the Utilities Retail domain, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working on application development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand application requirements. - Design, develop, and test applications using Utilities Retail domain knowledge. - Configure and customize applications to meet specific business needs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in Utilities Retail domain. - Identify and resolve application defects and performance issues. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Proficiency in Utilities Retail domain. - Strong understanding of application development principles and methodologies. - Experience in designing and developing applications using relevant programming languages and frameworks. - Knowledge of database management systems and SQL. - Familiarity with software testing and debugging techniques. - Experience in version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex application issues. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience in Utilities Retail domain. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 10 year(s) of experience is required
