API Lead Developer

API Development lead is responsible for ownership and oversight of multiple enterprise grade micro services typically exposed for consumption as APIs. The lead will set design, quality and operational standards for the services and APIs that will be leveraged by wide variety of API developers and consumers. This role will also be responsible for building a catalog of reusable modules and assets that is aimed at developer productivity, consistent quality and code maturity from the services developed.

Skill Set:

Good knowledge of integration architecture patterns

Experience supporting and/or implementing complex integration projects

Excellent client management skills

Experience in APIC, Java, Maven, Spring Boot, Spring Security, OAuth, soap, rest API, json, xml, YAML, GraphQL, Swagger, JPA, BM DB2, MongoDB, Apache Hadoop, Junit, Mockito, Jacoco, Cryptography, encryption, JWT, RHOCP, Docker EE, Apache Kafka, Elastic Stack, Kibana

Qualifications:

5 plus years of Enterprise grade application development

5 years of hands on experience designing and developing microservices using Java/Spring Boot

3-5 years of experience with system integration

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with API concepts and technologies

Experienced in 3-tier, n-tier, cloud computing, microservices architectures and SOA.

Strong experience in API Management solutions (APIC preferred)

Strong Devops experience will be an advantage

Experience with Data modeling would be an asset

Experience in handling a team for atleast 5 years
