API Developer (Laravel)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Intermediate Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have experience working with Laravel and other related technologies. This role involves building and maintaining web applications, integrating third-party services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers.

• Key Responsibilities:

Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel and related technologies, ensuring they meet performance and security standards.

• API Development & Integration: Create and manage RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services.

Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas using SQL and work with both relational (MySQL) and NoSQL databases as needed.

Code Quality & Best Practices: Follow coding standards and best practices, including version control (Git), code reviews, and adhering to SOLID principles.Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing, including unit and integration tests, to ensure high-quality, bug-free code.

• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, front-end developers, and product managers to gather requirements and provide technical expertise for project delivery.

Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for the codebase, APIs, and application functionalities.

Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for existing applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.

• Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in web development, with at least 1-2 years focused on Laravel.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, or Java. Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and web services.

Experience Laravel and PHP.

• Strong understanding of MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and object-oriented programming.

Database Management: Solid knowledge of MySQL, experience with migrations, Eloquent ORM, and query optimization.

Tools & Frameworks: Experience with Git, Composer, and other development tools.Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop efficient solutions.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, adapting to fast-paced changes.

Advanced Laravel Features: Experience with Laravel features such as queues, event broadcasting, and job scheduling.Front-End Frameworks: Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React.

• Deployment & DevOps: Experience with deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and managing servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx).

Agile Methodology: Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Location & Availability:Amenable to work onsite in Makati City and available to start immediately or within the next weekWorking Schedule: Monday to Friday

Pay: Php35,
