What You'll Accomplish:
- Shape the Future of APAC Talent: You'll lead the strategy for recruitment across both business and technical functions, ensuring we attract the best talent.
- Build a Strong Talent Pipeline: Partner with our capacity planning team to forecast hiring needs and proactively align recruiting strategies across the Philippines and Malaysia.
- Drive APAC Employer Branding: Elevate our presence in the region, ensuring Wonders is seen as an employer of choice, especially in high-demand technical markets.
- Develop Leadership & Teams: You'll coach, mentor, and lead a team of recruiters, driving performance while fostering growth.
- Enhance Operational Efficiency: Lead initiatives to improve recruiting processes, vendor management, and reporting to keep hiring top-tier talent efficient and scalable.
Year 1 Deliverables:
- Increase Talent Density: Improve hiring manager satisfaction, quality of hire, and time to fill.
- Enhance Reporting: Build out detailed recruiting progress reports for business leaders in the APAC region.
- Boost Employer Brand: Strengthen Wonders's reputation in APAC, measured by an increase in inbound applications, candidate engagement, and positive Glassdoor/Jobstreet reviews.
- Unlock Recruitment Efficiencies: Create scalable processes that improve the efficiency of high-volume recruiting across multiple markets.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with APAC leadership, People Ops, and Talent Management to create a retention strategy that keeps the best talent engaged and thriving.
About You:
- Experienced Leader: You have 3-5 years of experience leading recruitment teams, preferably in a fast-growing startup environment.
- Stakeholder Manager: You've got the executive presence and communication skills to manage relationships with senior leaders across APAC.
- Data-Driven: You're comfortable analyzing recruitment data to build clear, actionable insights for decision-makers.
- Cross-Cultural Collaborator: You have successfully led recruitment efforts across the Philippines and Malaysia.
- Tool Master: You're skilled at using recruiting tools like Ashby, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google Suite, and Slack.
