As an AP Specialist, you'll be instrumental in managing accounts payable operations, handling vendor relations, and ensuring seamless payment processes. You will work closely with finance teams to maintain accurate, timely invoicing, with tasks ranging from vendor management and invoice processing to troubleshooting discrepancies. This role offers a mix of autonomy and collaboration, allowing you to contribute to continuous process improvements within the department.

Shift: Night Shift, Mon - Fri 08:00 PM to 05:00 AM Fixed weekends off
Work setup: Permanent WFH

Adding Up Success with Precision!
  • Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
  • Handle accounts payable tasks for various entities and vendors
  • Build and sustain relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Ensure timely and accurate bill payments in compliance with company procedures
  • Process invoices, ensuring they are approved, coded, and matched against purchase orders
  • Coordinate with department managers for invoice approvals and authorizations
  • Ensure proper invoice cutoff monthly
  • Investigate and resolve any issues associated with invoice processing
  • Assist in setting up new vendors for added entities
  • Contribute to the implementation of Procurement Partners to automate invoice workflow

Requirements

The Right Ingredients for Financial Balance!

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of accounts payable experience with strong skills in reconciling vendor statements
  • Experience in vendor management (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of relevant A/P software (e.g., Sage, PCC, QuickBooks, Procurement Partners) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as needed
  • Familiarity with Sage or Procurement Partners (a plus)
