Amazon Product Developer

This is a remote position.

You will be primarily responsible for identifying and taking product ideas to finished products, ready to launch on Amazon. You will be working closely with the Product Development Team, Brand Managers, Product Designer, Compliance Team, Quality Team and Sourcing Team.

This is an exciting full-time job opportunity for someone who wants to deepen their expertise in launching products on Amazon and outside Amazon with a full end-to-end process. Our company is based in Singapore and most of our team members are in Asia, but this is a fully remote position for any time zone.

Responsibilities

You will be involved in the entire product development process, working across multiple functions to transform the initial concept into a viable commercial product.

• Collaborate with Brand Managers to evaluate the product development needs for the brands and discuss potential product ideas to build a pipeline of new products.

• Conduct market research to identify and evaluate new product ideas with customer-centric approaches to validate the ideas.

• Develop product objectives and specifications with consideration for efficacy, user experience, feasibility and cost after idea validation.

• Work with our Sourcing Team to research suppliers, communicate requirements, order and evaluate samples, and select the ideal supplier for each project.

• Coordinate with other team members, such as product designers, compliance, quality, sourcing team to communicate requirements to suppliers regarding compliance, quality, specification standards.

• Manage the work plan for projects, coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure projects are on track, completed and launched on time.

• Review performance of product launches, follow up on improvements and share learnings for future product development.

• Work with brand managers to define launching metrics and success metrics.

• 4-6+ years experience in a product development or brand manager role within the Amazon and e-commerce industry.

• At least 1-2 years experience in project management

• Highly organised and attention to details, as you will be managing multiple projects at once with concomitant timeline & deadlines

• Self-directed /pro-active & motivated to be able to make decisions and push projects forward each day, without always having clear directives from supervisors.

• Good understanding of the Western consumer, as we sell mainly on Amazon US & Europe, and you will need to make product decisions accordingly.

• Great communication skills and ability to work with various project stakeholders.
