RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure customer service satisfaction by attending to guest activities in the airport and represent the Serviced Residence. Reports directly to Assistant Residence Manager.
Demonstrates the competencies required to perform the duties of the role.
- Performs meet and greet of arriving guests.
Ensures guest transportation going to the Residence.- Escort guest in the departure.
Create pick-up business for the Residence and other revenue generating activities related to arrival/departure from Residence.
- Ensures communication of information such as delayed flights, cancelled flights, lost luggage, airport activities to all relevant parties by phone.
Maintains the appearance and presentation of self.- Attends to guest problems, enquiries and requests effectively and efficiently, forwarding to senior staff when required.
Completes required reports in appropriate format and within set timeframes.
- Internal / External Relations & Communication
Represents the Ascott Group in a professional manner in all contexts, ensuring positive relationships are developed and maintained with all relevant internal and external parties.- Works cooperatively with all departments to achieve levels of service quality that meet the expectations of guests and Ascott standards
Participates in meetings and briefings for the department, ensuring effective and efficient communication processes.
- Human Resources and Development
Participates in The Ascott performance appraisal process.
- Participates in relevant development programmes ensuring transfer of knowledge into the workplace.
Champions the Ascott goals, behaviours and philosophies.- Ensures own compliance with all corporate and local human resource regulatory requirements.
Ensures the appropriate use of Residence operational equipment- Maintains knowledge and applies instructions concerning the safety and operation of the Residence.
Maintains security of the departmental cash floats.
Knows, follows-up and develops customer relations
- Maintains courteous relations with customers.
Promotes the property and the Group.
Performs any additional duties or projects as directed by the Company- Ensures that Ascott Policies and Standards are maintained at all times, and that any corporate initiatives are implemented.
Ensures compliance with all relevant legislation
- Works co-operatively with the corporate resources including corporate office in (cluster).
Achieves Key Performance Indicators as set and agreed to- Manages emergencies situations, ensuring the safe protection of customers, staff and the business.
