Responsible for installing, maintaining, cleaning and repairing of air-conditioning equipment. He can even do heating or refrigeration work, as he is trained to work on both heating and cooling units, including motors, switches, pumps, wiring, thermostat and fans.
Responsibilities:
Installs, inspects, maintains and repairs all types of ACUs
Does the ACU cleaning as per schedule to be assisted by the branch maintenance personnel (Split-type ACU cleaning if only beyond warranty); if under warranty cleaning c/o supplier.
Ventilates equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously.
Diagnoses electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
Installs, replaces or repairs equipment that has been damaged.
Makes adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic controls
Installs new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance
Recommends preventive measures on the units
Performs regular maintenance work on cooling units
Conduct daily routine for inspections
Act as maintenance personnel of the based branch
Helps in other maintenance-related work
Acts as laundryman
Does cleaning (hallways, lobby, stairs, parking and other areas)
Assists guests; provides customer service
Performs other task in the operations that may be assigned from time to time
