To serve United Cargo (International Airlines)Successful candidate is expected to create awareness of all the cargo products and services in the target markets to magnify market influence and generate sales
Functions
- Interfaces with customers (Freight Forwarders) and United Principals as necessary during physical visits.
Responsible for all sales presentations, physical sales calls, and Blitz to Customers both ONLINE and INTERLINE.- Responsible for maintaining strategic key and local accounts and contributing to the formulation of strategies to produce and increase revenue.
Monitor all calls done by the sales team including opportunities, itineraries, and highlights for the current and following week.
- Establish and maintain good relations with forwarders and customers.
Manage day-to-day cargo bookings and send daily updates to clients.- Ensure accounting that all rates are correct vs. system and customer agreed rates.
Coordinates and liaises with the Principal of the airline represented on sales-related matters and activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree holder.
Strong knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry.- Proven track record in cargo and freight sales, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, persuasion, and closing deals
