Job Brief DescriptionWe are looking for an Air Compressor Operator who is responsible for the management and safe operation of an air compressor. They must be familiar with the structure, function principle, and performance of air compressors.
The Air Compressor Operator must also be aware of the safety rules and auxiliary equipment necessary for the compressor to operate safely.
Repair and servicing power-driven air compressor which generates and supplies compressed air to drive pneumatic tools, hoists and other mechanical equipment
- Building up and maintain required pressure in the production area
Manipulating controls or setting automatic regulator to maintain correct supply of air to the equipment- Observing pressure, temperature and other gauges and making further adjustments to controls, as necessary
Closely monitor the production area and other premises to check for any possible air leaks
- Cleaning and oiling equipment, tightening loose parts and performing other servicing tasks to keep compressor in good running order
Connecting pipelines from compressor to various equipment and making minor repairs- Perform basic preventive maintenance
Collect data for reports.
- Keep workplace clean and safe.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
High school diploma or equivalent.- Ability to understand and execute technical instructions.
Good mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills.- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
