About the Role
As a Software Engineer specializing in Generative AI, you will be a core member of our Engineering Team. You will play a critical role in shaping and building our product, working closely with a small, talented, and experienced team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you'll do:
- Create, Design, Code, Build, and Run: Lead the entire lifecycle of product developmentfrom ideation, design, and coding to deployment and ongoing optimization of robust software solutions.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand business needs, evaluate new ideas, and propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
- Experiment and Optimize: Design and run experiments to evaluate performance, scalability, and robustness of product features, continually enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.
- Enhance Workflows: Research, develop, and maintain internal tools that streamline and improve development processes and team efficiency.
- Stay at the Cutting Edge: Engage with the AI research community to stay updated on the latest advancements in AI technologies, and explore their potential to enhance our products.
Job requirements
What You Bring:
- Passion for AI: You share our commitment to bringing reliable AI into real-world business applications.
- 12+ months of hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs): Up-to-date with the latest advancements, research, and practical applications in the field.
- Excellent programming skills: Particularly in Python and SQL.
- API Design Expertise: Proficient in designing and building structured, efficient APIs.
- JavaScript and Frontend Development (React): Enthusiasm for frontend technologies is a plus.
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills: You approach challenges methodically and creatively.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly grasp new environments, frameworks, and programming languages.
- Complex Systems Architecture: Proven experience in architecting and implementing intricate systems independently.
- Startup Experience: Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills: Capable of articulating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contributions to open-source projects or research communities are a plus.
- Detail-oriented and goal-focused: You know what matters and what doesn't.
