Role Description

The Advocacy Officer is expected to lead advocacies and campaigns delivery of the foundation. The ideal candidate for the role would have a capability in liaising connections through campaigns, coalition building and partnerships.

Responsibilities

Leading the advocacy strategy and lead on delivery of agreed advocacy objectives.

Lead advocacy and campaigning activities of the foundation

Manage writing and submissions of grant or partnership proposals

Communications and external relations management

Other similar duties as directed by the Trustees

Qualifications

At least 1 year proven knowledge and experience of delivery of

advocacy and campaigning strategies

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

Proven ability to develop and implement advocacy strategies

Innovative, creative, solution-orientated approach to work

Background in grant writing is a plus

Strong project planning skills with proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks and to manage own time efficiently

The role requires independence, with minimal supervision needed
