At First Focus, our
Senior Sales Operations Lead plays a critical role in overseeing and optimising the sales operations function within the organisation
Duties
(We will not expect someone to have all of these experiences, familiarity and knowledge is the key to be successful on this role)
- Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness
- Identifying areas for process improvement such as forecasting, pipeline management, and order processing
- Analysing sales data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for optimising sales performance
- Evaluating, implementing, and managing sales tools and technologies (e.g., CRM systems) to support sales operations and enhance productivity
- Providing training and support to sales teams on processes, tools, and best practices to maximise their effectiveness
- Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales performance and drive continuous improvement
- Working closely with other departments such as marketing, finance, and service delivery to ensure alignment and achieve company-wide goals
- Leading or participating in projects related to sales operations, such as system implementations and process redesigns
- Generating regular reports and communicating insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 5yrs experience in a similar role
- Experience in managing processes, analysing data, and implementing improvements
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts, and drive results through others
- Strong ability to analyse data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to improve efficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the organisation
- Experience in managing projects
- Effective communication skills
- Experience in sales/procurement and systems/tools
- Familiar with ticketing systems (Connectwise preferred but not required)
- Worked in an MSP type of environment is preferred but not required
