Job Description: Administrative Assistant/ Logistics Coordinator
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator / Admin Assistant. This dual role involves managing logistics operations efficiently while providing administrative support to ensure smooth business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate transportation and shipment of goods to ensure timely delivery.
Track and monitor shipments to ensure they reach their destination on time.- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve logistics issues.
Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory.
- Scheduling of Deliveries and pick ups
Monitoring warehouse capacity- Monitoring stock transfers between 5 warehouses
Coordinating warehouse repairs
- Administrative Support:
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for executives.
Prepare orders from local accounts- Other administrative support needed
- Data Management:
- Update and maintain databases and spreadsheets with logistics and administrative information.
Generate reports on logistics performance metrics and administrative activities.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure all logistics and administrative documents are accurately completed and filed.
- Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Problem Solving:
- Address and resolve logistics and administrative problems promptly.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of logistics procedures and best practices.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
